SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER
The Original Sound Movie Track
(Remastered)
REPRISE
While this freshly remastered version
of the 15 million selling soundtrack is
not marketed as such, it is the 30th
anniversary of one of the biggest
music crazes of all time.
Because regardless of punk rock
emerging in 1977, disco did not suck
enough to curtail the largest selling
soundtrack of all time.
This is the third go-round on CD for
Saturday Night Fever, and the single
disc has been buffed up since the last
time it was released, so it is certainly a
worthy upgrade.
Vocals are clearer and crisper, and
individual instrumentation stands out
better in a very good stereo mix.
Of course if you are not a fan of the
Bee Gees, than this may not be for
you, but other dance notables such as
The Trammps (Disco Inferno) and
Kool And The Gang (Open Sesame)
have their own 70s allure, and kick.
The interesting thing is that clubs are
once again all the rage, and even
though disco is not quite king, it is still
played, and people still dance, so go
figger.
This CD comes with an 8 page booklet
with music and production notes on
each tune.
