FREE FOREVER
Island DVD

Was Free perhaps one of the
most under-rated "super
groups." All right, then?

Well, a good case could be
made for the above because
even though Paul Rodgers
would be the only original Free
member to further super-size
with Bad Company, fellow
Freesters,Paul Kossoff, Simon
Kurke and Andy Fraser were
non too shabby in their own
right, and collectively, were pop
dynamite for 3 short years.

And this numbered, 2 DVD set
of the band's triumph at the
1970 Ilse of Wight, in 5.1
Surround Sound with
split-sceen views and
multi-angles, original videos of
the hits-including Wishing
Well-the Beat Club set in
Germany, and the Granada TV
1970 special, is full proof that
while the band was around, they
were as intense and as hard
rocking as any of the era.

Not to be passed by any true
classic rock/blues/pop fan.
